Having peace in face of adversity
If a person is facing adversity, and can still have peace, then his life has reached a point where his body, heart, and spirit is in total harmony. But can this happen? In the bible Paul shows us that this is possible.
Philippians is the letter Paul wrote to the first church built in Europe. That was when Paul was in jail and attacked. And the church that Paul cared about was inflicted by paganism. When under such adversity, Paul still lived in peace and happiness and wrote: “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13
There are different kinds of silence. The silence of peace comes from God, even when you are under facing with challenges and difficulties, and terrible things keep happening to you. Life with faith is like a solid anchor, placed upon our Holy Father on the throne. Then peace lies in the inner place of your heart. With such peace you have silence even when faced with adversities.
Hence, silence comes when things are in place such as when Jesus was on earth and was very aware of his mission. He had an obedient heart as he walked the path of the cross. Where have I place my life upon? What certainties do I have in life?  If you wish to enjoy peace, then you must adjust your life, and let God use it.
In our road in life, you have already walked a lot of paths.  Do you wish for your spirit to have the silence of peace in the Lord?  You can if you build your life upon the rock of Jesus Christ.
May your spirit always have peace in our Lord!
